Let love live. I’m so thankful to be part of a church that has that rally cry. What a great slogan. What a great goal. Even more than that, I’m thankful to be a part of a church, the body of Christ, that’s called to do just that.
In a time of distrust, division, and self-seeking, we have the privilege of living above the fray, and letting love live. We are called, we are privileged, and we are empowered. The Bible says God has put His love in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). I heard someone say that love is doing what’s best for another person at any given moment. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to do that, empowered by the Holy Spirit. The amazing thing is that when we do, we get to live above the fray, instead of living underneath it.
I just want to encourage you that you can let love live. Every day, in every interaction, that is where love lives. And when we do, we can live a better life, and the fullness that Jesus wants for us.
